What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driving Instructor position at Premier Driving School, LLC?
Premier Driving School is looking for enthusiastic people with a passion and patience for teaching others to become safe and confident drivers.
We are based out of Sunnyvale and work with student drivers from San Jose to Redwood City.
Qualifications for these positions are (But are not limited to):
- Be atleast 23 years of age
- Able to work late afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Hold a High School Diploma or “Equivalent”
- Hold a valid California Driver’s License
- Clean background check (DMV licensing requirement)
- Professional and courteous (w/ clients and co-workers)
- Thrives in an independent work environment (Teaching 1-on-1 in a vehicle.)
- Team player who is open to taking and sharing constructive feedback.
- Pass a medical exam (DMV licensing requirement)
- Pass an exam about traffic laws, safe driving techniques, and teaching methods (DMV licensing requirement)
This is for part-time positions with the potential of leading into full-time. We will provide training and preparation to take your exam with the DMV and become a licensed instructor. And of course, we will provide the vehicles for you to teach in!
