We are currently searching for a Box Truck Driver who delivers corrugated packaging to customers in a safe and professional manner. Deliveries to be made in downtown Chicago area regularly and will be driving a 26ft. Box Truck. Hours / Days: Weekend 1st shift, Monday - Friday (7am – 3pm).
Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Demonstrates a high level of competency operating box trucks and vans

Identifies and reports mechanical or safety concerns with equipment during pre and post operation

Follows the designated routes as determined by the Fleet Dispatcher

Demonstrates patience, courtesy, cooperation, and professionalism while at the customer’s delivery site. Does not engage in customer altercations

Observes customer unloading, verifies bill of lading for accuracy and ensures proof of delivery for shipping department

Cooperates with all law enforcement or traffic officials

Reports all accidents to both the Fleet Dispatcher and Shipping Manager

Qualifications
What You'll Need:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. alone and 50 lbs. assisted
- A valid Class C CDL license & clear DOT drug screen
- A clean driving record
- Be at least 21 years of age
Salary : $20 - $25
