The technology assistant will work closely with the Director of Technology to manage and support the school's technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and a positive user experience for students, staff, and faculty.

Key Responsibilities Technical Support:
Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues for the district
Assist faculty, staff, students and administration with technology isues.
System Maintenance: Support the maintenance of all school technology devices, including computers, tablets, and interactive displays, cameras and card access. Ensuring they are up-to-date and functional.
User Training: Help conduct training sessions for staff on the use of educational technology tools and platforms.
Inventory Management: Track and manage technology assets, including hardware and software licenses, to ensure efficient resource allocation.
Project Assistance: Support the Director of Technology in implementing new systems, software upgrades, and technology initiatives.
E-school management, assisting the cycle report coordinator.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and procedures to streamline future support. Cybersecurity Support: Assist in monitoring and implementing cybersecurity protocols to protect school data and systems.
Collaboration: Work with teachers, administrators, and IT staff to integrate technology into the curriculum and school operations.
Experience: 2 years of experience in a technical support or IT role, preferably in an educational setting.
Skills: Proficiency with Windows, macOS, and common educational software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365). Basic understanding of network systems, Wi-Fi, and device management.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
* Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Google Classroom) and experience in a K-12 environment.
* Familiar with DIS Arkansas portals, like e-school and/or other management tools.
* Familiar with Arkansas state policies regarding public schools
* Positive outlook and taking initiative on projects.
