The Role
The Industry Analyst - TMEGS supports Telco, Media &Entertainment, Gaming, and Sports vertical strategy by delivering market-aligned insights and GTM enablement for these dynamic customer segments. This individual contributor, critical to developing our product management functionality where products are services, focuses on understanding buyer dynamics, technology adoption patterns, and partner ecosystem opportunities unique to TMEGS industries. Part of Presidio's vertical overlay structure, this role ensures service offerings address the specific needs of technology companies, media organizations, entertainment studios, and gaming enterprises including high-performance computing, content delivery, and digital experience requirements.
Major Responsibilities:
- Research TMEGS industry trends including streaming technology evolution, gaming infrastructure requirements, and digital content workflows.
- Analyze technology adoption patterns specific to TMEGS segments including cloud migration, edge computing, and AI/ML implementations.
- Support Partner Strategy by identifying TMEGS-focused partner programs, technology alliances, and co-innovation opportunities.
- Develop deep understanding of TMEGS buyer personas from CTOs at tech startups to infrastructure leads at major studios.
- Create industry-specific value propositions addressing scalability, performance, and time-to-market requirements.
- Monitor competitive landscape including specialized TMEGS service providers and technology partners.
- Support TMEGS account teams with industry insights, solution positioning, and reference architectures.
- Track emerging technologies relevant to TMEGS including AR/VR, real-time rendering, and content personalization.
- Build relationships with TMEGS industry associations, technology councils, and innovation labs.
- Analyze TMEGS business models including subscription services, advertising technology, and digital distribution.
- Develop thought leadership on topics such as the metaverse, gaming infrastructure, and media supply chain transformation.
- Collaborate with Services Product Management to ensure offerings meet TMEGS performance and scale requirements.
- Support RFP responses with TMEGS-specific capabilities, case studies, and industry expertise.
- Coordinate with other industry analysts to share insights on digital transformation trends.
Technology/Area of Specialization:
- Deep understanding of TMEGS technology stacks including content management systems, streaming platforms, and game engines.
- Knowledge of media workflows including production, post-production, and distribution technologies.
- Familiarity with gaming infrastructure requirements including low-latency networking and GPU computing.
- Understanding of technology company needs including DevOps, continuous deployment, and platform scaling.
- Experience with content delivery networks, edge computing, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of TMEGS compliance requirements including content protection and data privacy regulations.

Required Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in telco, media &entertainment, gaming, and sports industries; Media Studies, Computer Science, or related field Master's degree preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in TMEGS market dynamics, procurement processes, and technology adoption patterns with 3-5 years as a Business Analyst on complex technology initiatives
- Deep understanding of TMEGS industry dynamics, technology trends, and business models.
- Experience with digital transformation projects in media, entertainment, or technology companies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, content delivery systems, and digital experience technologies.
- Experience with business or technology consulting organization, with expertise in customer conversations and executive presence
- Strong presentation skills for executive and Industry executives.
- Ability to translate TMEGS business needs into services solutions.
- Industry connections and thought leadership presence preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, client-facing consultative environment.

Physical Requirements:
Combination of office work and industry engagement. Moderate travel (15-20%) for industry conferences, technology summits, customer innovation centers, and partner meetings. Standard office equipment use with extended computer work for research and analysis. May require attendance at industry events outside standard business hours.
