What are the responsibilities and job description for the Washbay Attendant position at Prestage?
Prestage Farms is looking for a Washbay Attendant to wash and disinfect trucks and trailers by performing the following duties, among others.
Responsibilities
- Spray trucks and trailers with sprayer nozzle and power washer to remove debris
- Dislodge debris from trailers
- Fill vats with water to specified level
- Pour specified quantity of soap or chemicals into water, containers, and other solutions
- Disinfect trucks and trailers to ensure minimal disease
- Must have the ability to operate trucks (with trailer), back and maneuver trucks into narrow locations
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondences
- Ability to speak effectively before a group of employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and ability to draw and interpret bar graphs
