Prestige ABA Therapy is a clinic based facility located in East Providence, RI who are committed to helping individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other related developmental disabilities to overcome behavioral challenges, and other unique learning needs to achieve their maximum potential. We are seeking Part Time Behavior Technicians to work in the clinic setting with children ages 2-10 years old Monday-Friday 3pm-7pm.
Job Responsibilities:
- Follow data collection procedures and collect accurate data on acquisition and challenging behavior.
- Provide direct intervention in 1:1 and group settings with clients using a mixture of intensive behavioral interventions, natural environment teaching, and incidental teaching.
- Follow and implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction procedures as designed by BCBA/supervisor.
- Collect, record and summarize data related to observable client behavior.
- Effectively communicate with clients and other caregivers in relation to clients treatment progress as instructed by supervisor.
- Assist with and conduct parent training as needed in relation to individual client protocols (this may be completed on clinic site or through virtual visits).
- Collaborate with treatment team including supervisor, client, parent, other technicians, teachers, and other co-workers.
- Consult with supervisor for technical assistance when needed.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding abuse/neglect, incident report, confidentiality, etc.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
- Maintain and acquire knowledge/skills by attending all required training's and staff meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to maintain and assume a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing).
- Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must have manual dexterity in order to perform specific electronic functions for session notes/data collection.
- Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in oral and written formats.
Qualifications:
- RBT Certification preferred although Prestige ABA Therapy will provide RBT Certification to candidates who do not yet possess such certification.
- Experience working or volunteering with special needs children.
- Minimum of a high school diploma / GED.
*All candidates will complete a Criminal Background Check/Fingerprinting.
