Job Summary

The Document Specialist will be responsible for developing, documenting, and managing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Taste, Texture, and Health business unit.

The focus will be on logistics, production, continuous improvement, safety, and quality processes related to liquid flavors manufacturing.

The role will ensure that procedures are written accurately, clearly, and in alignment with industry best practices, playing a vital part in maintaining compliance, improving efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and edit SOPs for logistics, production, continuous improvement, safety, and quality processes related to liquid flavors manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and insights for SOP development.
  • Manage the SOP review process, ensuring all documents are accurate and clear before approval.
  • Maintain an organized repository of SOPs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist in the creation of training materials related to new SOPs and provide support for training sessions.
  • Ensure all SOPs comply with internal policies and relevant external regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Administrative skills and strong communication abilities.
  • Ability to understand and document processes clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in SOP writing or technical documentation in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards within the flavor or food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with document control software or systems.
  • Knowledge of safety, quality control, or continuous improvement processes in a production setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
