Your Role: As a Titles Clerk you will ensure titles are accounted for, traced, and accurately stored in the operating system. Communicate and assist customer or third parties with questions and find a solution to the problem.
Responsibilities:
- Audit records and files on a recurring basis to ensure accuracy
- Research title corrections and correct inaccuracies
- Contact dealerships, state agencies and auto auctions to obtain title information
- Ensure liens are released accurately and in the appropriate timeframe
- Protect the legal, financial and moral well-being of the company
- Other tasks assigned by management
Proficiencies:
- Builds and delivers solutions that meet customer expectations.
- Acquires data from multiple and diverse sources when solving problems.
- Follows through on commitments and makes sure others do the same.
- Displays a can-do attitude in good and bad times.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or comparable
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Typing/ phones experience preferred
- Can communicate quickly, effectively, and accurately through incoming and outgoing calls and emails while notating accounts
- Proficient typing skills
- Effective time management and ability to multi-task
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to use office equipment and computers
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Physical Requirements:
This is largely a sedentary role; however, the ability to positions self to file and move files and boxes weighing up to 20 pounds across the office building is required. Constantly operate a computer and phone. Frequently communicates with customers, coworkers, and managers about accounts. Able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
