Job Summary
Prestige Ford is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Body Shop Estimator to join our team in Mount Dora, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate estimates of repairs for our customers' vehicles and for ensuring that the repairs are done properly and timely. By accurately editing repair estimates, you will help ensure that repair invoices are adequate and that they are completed according to expectations. Must be well versed on CCC1 and CDK.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range from $50,000 to $75,000 per year commensurate with experience. Additional benefits may include health, dental, vision, 401k, paid holidays and vacation, and a continued education program.
Responsibilities
• Prepare cost estimates and repair orders for all body shop repairs.
• Edit repair orders for accuracy.
• Write detailed damage reports.
• Schedule and manage customer appointments.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing vehicles to ensure they are of acceptable quality.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental standards as prescribed by law.
Requirements
• A High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience in the auto body/repair industry.
• Knowledge of basic automotive repair machinery.
• Advanced level computer engineering skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
