Description
Provides administrative assistance to the Safety & Security Ministry at Prestonwood Baptist Church (PBC).
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Safety & Security Ministry including scheduling appointments, answering telephones, ordering office supplies, and other clerical and administrative duties
- Organize and administer office operations and procedures, such as preparation of purchase orders, check requests, credit card requests, flow of correspondence, and daily/weekly/monthly reporting
- Serve as a liaison between Safety & Security and other departments in the resolution of related day-to-day administrative issues
- Requisition and inventory supplies for Safety & Security
- Assist in coordinating vendor relationships and schedule vendor related work
- Maintain good relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers
- Assist in scheduling Safety & Security volunteers and maintain strong, positive relationships
- Ensure volunteer screening processes are followed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of a Bible believing and preaching ministry
- Some college, college degree preferred
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Team player
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to work with a high level of confidentiality
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products
- Able to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and use of stairs
