Location: Onsite (Lehi, Utah)
Company: Previ
Profile
- Collaborates by design, not by accident.
- Communicates with clarity, always grounded in the member.
- Exercises real agency, creating outcomes instead of waiting for them.
We’re looking for a Senior / Lead Product Designer to help shape the direction, quality, and impact of Previ’s product experience. This role is for a highly experienced designer who is comfortable owning complex problem spaces, setting design standards, and collaborating closely with product and engineering leadership.
You’ll lead end-to-end design for major initiatives, influence product strategy, and help elevate design thinking across the organization. While this is not a people-management role by default, you will act as a design leader—setting direction, mentoring others, and advocating for strong user-centered decision making.
- Own and lead design across significant parts of the product, from problem definition through execution and iteration.
- Partner closely with product management and engineering to shape strategy, define roadmaps, and prioritize work.
- Translate complex product requirements and business goals into clear, intuitive, and scalable experiences.
- Drive user-centered processes including research, discovery, prototyping, testing, and validation.
- Create high-quality interaction design, user flows, and visual designs with a strong attention to detail.
- Help define, evolve, and maintain Previ’s design system and UX patterns.
- Set a high bar for design quality, usability, and accessibility across the product.
- Mentor and support other designers through feedback, critique, and guidance.
- Balance long-term product vision with short-term delivery in a startup environment.
- 5–10 years of experience designing complex digital products, ideally in startup environments.
- Experience using AI as a core part of your design process.
- Amazing visual design skills.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end product thinking.
- Proven ability to lead design projects independently and influence cross-functional partners.
- Deep experience with modern design tools (Figma, prototyping tools, design systems).
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and responsive design.
- Excellent communication skills—you can clearly articulate design decisions and tradeoffs to different audiences.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and helping teams move forward when problems are not clearly defined.
- Experience designing HR tech, fintech, or complex enterprise tools.
- Experience with building AI tools.
- Familiarity working closely with engineering on implementation details.
- Light front-end knowledge (HTML, CSS, component-based systems).
- Experience contributing to or leading product discovery and strategy conversations.
- Design has a seat at the table and real influence on product direction.
- Opportunity to help shape a growing product and company at a meaningful stage.
- A collaborative, pragmatic, and design-minded team.
- Competitive compensation, equity, and room to grow with the company.
