Job Title: Client Services Manager - Wind Uplift (Low Slope, Commercial Roofing & Metal Roof Covers)
Job Description: In this position, you will lead a book of business in Wind Uplift, including Low Slope, Commercial Roofing & Metal Roof Covers, etc. As a responsible person-in-charge, you are expected to be knowledgeable, accountable, responsible, answerable, and adaptable. Expectations for revenue generation and execution are an important component of this position. Day-to-day job functions include: roles and responsibilities for Client Service, Testing Operations (laboratory scale performance testing, for example: 12’x24’ roof assemblies for wind uplift resistance), and Representation of PRI. Client Service includes client interactions, overseeing workflow (e.g. Confirmation of Quote, Material Receipt, Work Request, Project Management, Data Review, Reporting), and invoicing. Testing Operations includes personnel management and testing equipment. Representation of PRI includes participation in industry forums, trade shows, trade associations, etc.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Minimum: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Preferred: Master's Degree in Science or Engineering
Experience/Skills:
- Minimum:5 years of related experience (e.g. engineer, laboratory technician)
- Preferred: 7 years of related experience, including hands-on with the material
- Personnel Management: - Minimum: 3 years in a team environment - Preferred: 1 year in a leadership position with direct or indirect reports
- Project Management: Minimum: Able to demonstrate Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring, and Closing (e.g. PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge)
- Computer: Minimum: Able to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including MS Excel and MS Word
- Communication Skills: Minimum: Able to speak and write English fluently
- Physical Conditions: Minimum: Able to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions, including Florida summer outside.
