ABOUT THIS JOB

A PRI Productions Event Technology (Audio Visual) Technician must present a professional and positive image, demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills with superior attention to detail. The Event Tech's prime function is to provide AV support across a range of live events, and to be accountable to all stakeholders for delivery.

Event Techs at PRI Productions are expected to understand and assist with pre-event planning and resource scheduling, technical briefings, installation, live event management, technical delivery, breakdown and maintenance. A desire to exceed our clients’ expectations is key. Strong customer service skills along with solid technical experience is a winning combination, enabling the ability to work independently if and when necessary. Experience with audio visual equipment and services is a must.

Qualified candidates must have a strong technical background with the ability to transport, assemble, maintain and repair equipment used in multimedia production. Qualified candidates must also demonstrate the ability to be creative and flexible while maintaining a positive attitude, often under deadline pressure. In addition to being proficient with computer systems used in multimedia production, we also require basic computer software skills. Event Technology Technicians must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time and have good hearing and eyesight.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS PROFILE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least one year of AV experience
  • Ability to setup, operate, and breakdown audio-visual equipment.
  • Termination skills of pro audio and control connections
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment to accomplish tasks
  • Knowledge of audio, video projection and switcher operation
  • Complete understanding of signal flow in both audio and video installations

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Must pass a drug screening
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Must have reliable transportation to work as well as a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to work full-time hours and overtime, including nights and weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
