What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist position at Pride Health?
Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist for our healthcare client based in Minneapolis, MN! This is a 3-months contract role with possibility of extension or conversion.
Hours: Day shift
Responsibilities:
-Will be drawing blood in all areas of the inpatient units including ICU, burn, psych, peds and babies in addition to regular medical/surgical patients.
-Reviews patient chart for orders and prep orders
-Properly identifies patients for blood collection
-Performs phlebotomy and collects appropriate specimens from patients as ordered
Qualifications:
-Position requires prior experience
-High School Diploma or GED is recommended
-Experience with collecting blood for diagnostic testing
Base Pay Range: (Local): $20-31/hr.
(Traveler): $30-35/hr.
*Base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and takes into consideration experience, expertise, education, and other qualifications.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
