What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist position at PRIDE Health?

Pride Health is hiring for a phlebotomist to support our client’s healthcare organization in Smyrna Beach ,FL  . This is a 2-4months assignment(possibility of extension or conversion).
Schedule: 1st Shift Mon–Fri 6:30am -3:30pm(40 hrs/per week)
*Every 3rd Sat 7-11
ORIENTATION IN TAMPA IS REQUIRED DURING 3RD WEEK OF TRAINING.

Pay Rate: $16.20/hr-17.70/hr. (Pay rate depends on experience, expertise and education)

Duties:

  •    Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups
  •    Performs specimen processing in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
  •    Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.

    Education/Qualifications:

  •    High School Diploma or GED.
  •    Minimum 1 of phlebotomy experience required.
