*You must be able to work in both our Atascadero and San Luis Obispo locations depending on the needs of the practice*
Primary Eyecare Center is looking for an enthusiastic individual with strong communication skills and at least 2 years of customer service or retail experience to join our team. As an Optometric Assistant you would play an integral role in delivering an exceptional experience to our patients.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Assisting patients in selecting frames and lenses
- Dispensing, adjusting and repairing eyewear
- Processing and calculating orders, billing insurance
- Comfortable talking to patients about costs of eyewear
- Training patients with contact lens insertion
- Answering phones and assisting doctors with patients' needs
