Pay: $57.00 - $62.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
Description:
The Project Manager will lead the implementation and ongoing management of engineered labor standards and a performance-based incentive program at Healthcare’s Byhalia warehouse. Representing a third-party logistics provider, this role serves as the primary liaison between client and the third party vendor for strategic services, ensuring the successful deployment of LEAN initiatives, NextView LMS enhancements, and a structured incentive system that drives operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management & Governance
- Lead full project lifecycle from planning through post-implementation.
- Establish governance frameworks, track milestones, and manage risks.
- Serve as the central point of contact between client, Hy-Tek, and internal teams.
- Conduct time studies and develop engineered labor standards for 18 core tasks.
- Validate standards through field testing and stakeholder feedback.
- Document Preferred Methods and integrate into SOPs and training.
- Oversee configuration of NextView LMS including standards loading, XYZ map validation, and report customization.
- Coordinate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Design and implement performance-based incentive programs.
- Define qualifiers, payout structures, and performance thresholds.
- Monitor effectiveness and alignment with operational goals.
- Deliver training on labor standards, LMS functionality, and incentive mechanics.
- Facilitate Productivity Workshops to enhance leadership and coaching.
- Track productivity, quality, and incentive metrics.
- Provide regular reporting including ROI and payroll impact.
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights.
• Ensure alignment with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of engineering and training activities.
8. Process Optimization & Standardization
- Map warehouse layouts using CAD software.
- Identify and resolve process inefficiencies and breakdowns.
- Lead Lean initiatives (6S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, BOS deployment).
- Standardize processes and enhance training materials.
- Promote safe equipment use and adherence to PPE protocols.
- Support initiatives to improve workplace safety and prevent harassment.
Required:
- 10 years in warehouse operations, logistics engineering, or labor standards.
- Proven experience leading large-scale productivity improvement projects.
- Proficiency with Tier 1 LMS (NextView preferred).
- Experience implementing incentive-based compensation programs in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of LEAN and incentive-based compensation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- PMP or Six Sigma certification.
- Experience with 3PLs or consulting firms.
- Background in healthcare or regulated environments.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
