We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to play an integral role in the PRIME Human Resources Department. This position best suits candidates interested in working in a fast-paced environment while creatively solving problems and working through the following responsibilities:
1. Responsibilities
- a. Developing and administering human resources plans and procedures that relate to company personnel
- b. Leads company compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal and government reporting requirements.
- c. Solely handles all legal grievances with company from DOL, EEOC, NLRB, etc.
- d. Protects the interest of employees and company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations, minimizing risk.
- e. Planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR department
- f. Contributing to the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systems
- g. Implementing and revising a company’s compensation program
- h. Creating and revising job descriptions
- i. Conducting annual salary surveys
- j. Developing, analyzing, and updating the company’s salary budget
- k. Developing, analyzing and updating the company’s evaluation program
- l. Developing, revising, and recommending personnel policies and procedures
- m. Maintaining and revising the company’s handbook on policies and procedures
- n. Performing benefits administration
- o. Overseeing recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing and placing job ads
- p. Conducting new employee orientations and employee relations counseling
- q. Overseeing exit interviews
- r. In conjunction with operations handle all employee relations issues
- s. Maintaining department records and reports
- t. Participating in administrative staff meetings
- u. Maintaining company directory and other organizational charts
- v. Recommending new policies, approaches, and procedures
Requirements
- Must have 3 + years experience in a Human Resources Management position
- Confidentiality is a must.
- Previous related work experience will be a plus.
- Must be able to work independently, as well as be part of a team
- Must demonstrate the great work ethic.
- Must possess great administrative writing skills and reporting skills.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with the ability to interact with individuals.
- Must be detail-oriented and well-organized.
- Must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel.
