What are the responsibilities and job description for the Post Closer position at Primis Bank?
Position Summary: Responsible for providing support for the Commercial Lending team. In addition, this position supports staff to prepare documents and loan set-ups, for new commercial loans as well as modifications.
- Prepare documents for scanning.
- Prepare loan set ups for new commercial loans and modifications.
- Review, maintain and update ticker reports on a weekly basis.
- Responsible for following up on title policies and recorded collateral documents.
- Maintain loan number email box and issue loan numbers to loan officers for commercial loans.
- Prepare modifications to existing loans.
- Update rates for the Bank.
- May need to assist on other areas/functions as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain compliance with and adhere to all state and federal regulations and bank policies and procedures, including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, FACT ACT, Community Reinvestment Act, and EEO/AA/Fair Employment Practices.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Financial services experience
- Knowledge of loan products, functions, policies and procedures, as well as loan documentation required by bank policy and state and federal regulators
- Knowledge of loan data systems, loan accounting, strong personal computer skills, and ability to learn new systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective and professional communications
- Proficient on MS Office products and departmental software
- Continuous remaining in a stationary position, particularly, but not limited to, at a desktop computer
- Continuous visual review of documents
- Frequent high stress periods of high volume work with tight deadlines
- Continuous repetitive use of hands/arms; particularly concerning to typing, writing, phone & computer use
- Continuous communication: verbal and written, in-person, phone and electronic
- Office setting
Experience
