MECHANICAL INSPECTOR
PRIMO MEDICAL GROUP is seeking a MECHANICAL INSPECTOR to join its QUALITY CONTROL TEAM! You will perform all aspects of Incoming, In-Process and Final inspection of materials, componenets and finished medical products.
Responsibilitites:
Read and understand all Quality Management System procedures related to the position/function within the organization.
Performs all stages of the inspection process per relevant specififcations/document the results on appropriate Quality Plans.
Prepares Nonconforming Material Reports (NCMR) and Customer Deviation Requests (CDR) as applicable for discrepant material and components.
Review and approve material and special process certifications.
Prepare required documentation for finished product final release.
Review and verify Device History Records to ensure all required documents are present, complete and acurate prior to scanning them into the Document Control Sytem.
Execute protocols and support Engineering on special projects such as Gage R7R and Component Qualififcation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or Equivalenmt with 3-5 years Manufacturing or Quality Assurance experience. Working knowledge of FDA 21CFR820 Quality System Regulations (QSR) and ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems.
Experience with micrometers, calipers, thread gages and similar manual instrumenets.
Experience with Surface-plate set-ups, Micro-Hites, drop indicators.
Must have experience with the coordination of measuring machines and working with non-contact instruments such as comparetors and vision systems.
Must have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications and to write reports and business corespondences.
Must have the ability to work with basic mathmatical concepts and solve practial problems with a common sense approach.
Must posess 20/20 corrected vison and/or ability to distinguish colors, see fine imperfections and flaws and have computer skills that show a good working knowledge of the elements within Microsoft office and Adobe Acrobat.
