Report Developer

Job Overview :

Primoris Services Corporation is currently searching for a Report Developer. This position is responsible for working within the reporting environments throughout the organization - primarily Crystal Reports / MS SQL Management Studio and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). This Report Developer will be tasked with developing custom reports, both simple and complex SQL queries (e.g. nested queries, sub-queries, outer joins, etc.,) stored procedures, views, etc. This Report Developer will work closely with users to analyze and understand their reporting needs in order to optimize the display and retrieval of data.

Primary Job Responsibilities :

• Gather information to define scope of work and understand the wants and needs of users, by clarifying and documenting requirements.
• Follow company standards, processes and procedures to create and maintain ad hoc reports based on data requests and evolving needs of users.
• Produce both simple and complex queries, perform quality assurance and validation of data and interact with users to reconcile discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot reports and processes to resolve errors.
