What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse - Plastic Surgery position at Prince Plastic Surgery?
We are looking for a well-organized and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a position in our Aesthetic Medical Office. Our office is a respected and busy plastic surgery practice.
This position requires an individual who is outgoing, energetic, dynamic and extremely organized. Must be able to work autonomously and as a team. Your role is not only to act as a clinician, but also to assist, and strengthen the patient experience.
Must have strong customer service experience, have exceptional computer proficiency, ability to prioritize, be detail oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to effectively sustain multiple simultaneous tasks while maintaining a high level of customer service and quality patient care.
Will be responsible for speaking with patients on the phone, explaining procedures, answering questions, providing guidance, acting as liaison between surgeon and patient, promoting surgeon and surgical results, reviewing pre- and post-operative instructions, providing pre- and post-operative care, assisting with surgical procedures, performing injectable/laser procedures, interfacing with patients and their families, customizing the care plan for each patient, managing the consultation/surgical process, paying close attention to the details of the entire patient experience, participating in practice marketing, bonding, “hand holding” of patients through their surgical decision process, and assisting with office procedures.
This position is not only a clinical role, but also a customer service role, as well as a patient support role for all new and existing patients in the practice and the ideal candidate must thrive in a service environment.
Experience/Requirements:
§ Medical office experience in the areas of Plastic Surgery, Cosmetic Dentistry or Dermatology would be beneficial
§ Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills over the telephone, in written communication and in-person.
§ Unencumbered AR license.
§ Ability to work 5 days per week.
§ Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 and Flu.
