PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The daily maintenance and preparation of surveying equipment and vehicle
• Provides assistance to Survey Manager in regard to layout and and measurements.
• Operating GPS, Trimble, and Total Solution equipment.
• Maintaining all surveying supplies
• Comparing survey computations with applicable standards to determine adequacy of data.
• Equipment verification once a month.
• Attends safety meeting and trainings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous relevant surveying construction experience is highly preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English or Spanish, due to nature of job.
• Must be able to lift 25 to 50 lbs. several times a day.
• High School diploma is highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime and be flexible with hours. (daytime/nighttime)
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be accustomed to working in outside environment.
• Must work well under pressure.
• Must possess and maintain clean Florida driver’s license.
