We are seeking a skilled and proactive Audio Visual (AV) Project Manager to oversee and coordinate AV technology projects across our corporate or institutional environments in Princeton, NJ. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of AV installations, upgrades, and maintenance—ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead AV project planning, scheduling, and execution from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
- Coordinate with AV technicians, vendors, and internal IT teams.
- Oversee AV system installations including video conferencing, projection, digital signage, and sound systems.
- Manage budgets, procurement, and ensure timely delivery of equipment.
- Provide regular status updates, documentation, and reporting to management.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance of AV systems before handover.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and technical requirements.
- Proven experience as an AV Project Manager or similar role in AV/IT systems.
- Strong knowledge of AV technologies (Crestron, Extron, Biamp, etc.).
- Experience with video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex).
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- PMP or CTS certification is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
