Description
Princeton Precision Group, a leader supporting the aerospace & defense, power generation, and medical industries is seeking an experienced and dedicated Level 4 CNC Programmer to join our organization. This CNC Programmer role will support all Engineering business units to produce accurate and timely CNC programs for 2-axis lathes through 5-axis mills. Compensation for this role is negotiable and based upon experience.

Requirements
- Develop and modify programs for CNC mills, lathes or other machinery according to specifications
- Test accuracy of settings and programs
- Collaborate with engineering to provide CNC programs as needed, utilizing customer specifications, blueprints, and CAD models
- Create detailed setup sheets, tool lists and work instructions
- Design fixtures and develop a quality, reliable machining process while being mindful of project cost and schedule
- Continuously improve new and existing processes
- Provide feedback and solutions to the Engineering and Production team
- Electrode design for EDM machinery
- Adjust machine settings to the desired product specifications
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- 5 years of NC programming experience
- High school diploma required
- Minimum 3 years experience programming with Siemens NX, CAM, or Visi 3 experience required
- Attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills
- Knowledgeable in cutter selection and modern manufacturing methods
- Comfortable holding tight tolerances on high value parts
- Experience with exotic or high-temp materials
- Experience programming graphite geometry preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills and working knowledge of MS Office products
