Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Endocrinologist to join our multidisciplinary team in an on-site, full-time capacity at our Great Neck, NY location. The Endocrinologist will diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of endocrine system disorders, including diabetes, thyroid conditions, and other glandular diseases or hormonal imbalances. They will collaborate closely with Primary Care Physicians, Nephrologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive and personalized care plans. Additional responsibilities include patient education, participation in care management programs, and contributing to the continuous improvement of clinical services.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Endocrinology and Diabetes management
- Understanding of medical concepts related to Medicine, including diagnostic and treatment approaches
- Familiarity with related specialties, such as Cardiology and its intersection with endocrine disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a collaborative care team
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or related degree with completion of an accredited Endocrinology fellowship program
- Board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology
- Licensure to practice medicine in the state of New York
