Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Warehouse Clerk/Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to efficiently load and unload materials, ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center. This role requires a strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols as outlined by OSHA standards.
Responsibilities
- Shipping and receiving of boxes, crates, and pallets
- Forklift driving - loading and unloading trucks
- Organizing warehouse
- Ability to fix simple mechanical & electrical issues on machinery
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
