This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in electronic theory and component-level troubleshooting on small aircraft parts such as radios, microphones, and headsets.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electronic components, including transistors, diodes, resistors, and capacitors.
- Troubleshoot and test avionics equipment at the component level.
- Utilize oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other testing tools to ensure proper functionality.
- Perform soldering and assembly work as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and testing results.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures in a climate-controlled environment.
Requirements:
- Experience in electronics repair, preferably in avionics or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of electronic circuitry and theory.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
- Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment.
