Electrical Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Service Technician with a strong background in electrical systems and field service work. This hands-on role focuses heavily on burner systems—including wiring, troubleshooting, and control work. Ideal candidates will have experience as an electrical apprentice or journeyman, and a solid understanding of burner controls and systems. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, as this position involves frequent on-site interaction with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain burner systems and burner controls.
• Perform complex wiring tasks and electrical diagnostics in the field.
• Read and interpret wiring schematics and control diagrams.
• Work closely with customers to assess issues and provide clear communication on repairs and service needs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service work.
• Document service calls and maintain accurate service records.
• Travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications:

• Electrical Apprentice, Journeyman Electrician, or equivalent field experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical wiring and controls—especially related to burners.
• Hands-on experience in electrical repair and field troubleshooting.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; must be professional and customer-focused.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Experience with instrumentation & electrical (I&E) systems is a plus, but this role is more repair-focused.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
