We are hiring a Precision Grinder for our North Tulsa facility on weekend 3rd shift. Work in a climate-controlled environment with top-tier benefits and a $4,200 sign-on bonus. This role involves operating grinding machines to produce high-precision parts per engineering specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate grinding machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform grinding operations on various materials, including metals, alloys, and composites.
- Calculate and adjust machine settings to achieve desired dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine performance, tooling, and workpiece quality.
- Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Document production activities, including machine settings, tooling changes, and inspection results.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or machining training preferred.
- Proven experience as a Precision Grinder in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of grinding techniques, tooling, and machining principles.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Ability to accurately measure and inspect parts using precision instruments.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
