Who You Are…
The Export Operations Agent will play a pivotal role in the daily operation of Priority’s export department, including processing ocean shipments. The candidate must possess proven experience in international ocean freight forwarding handling export files and a well-versed knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, and classifications. The ideal candidate must also be willing to actively participate in continuing education of themselves, employees, and customers.
As a Export Operator your Daily Responsibilities include complete management of the export supply chain process for Priority Worldwide's freight forwarding clientele. Primary job responsibilities:
- Enter, prepare and book export shipments.
- Monitor/handle export shipments with adherence to quality standards processing
- Ensure that shipments are setup in a timely fashion
- Ensure that all shipments have daily internal and client visible notes updates from time service is requested and file opened to POD
- Strong customer service skills which will help retain and develop new customers
- Liaison with international and domestic agents
- Provide and ensure constant compliance with Priority Worldwide’ s mission to ensure The Ultimate Customer Experience
Requirements
- 5 years experience international freight forwarding-Specifically Exports
- Strong Customer service skills
- Cargowise experience preferred

- Salary $50,000-$70,000 annually, depending on experience
