Job Summary
The I / S Asset Coordinator will assist with managing our IT Lifecycle for hardware and software. Coordinate the deployment, inventory, and transport of all used and new I / S equipment for Prisma Health and off-site storage locations. Directly supports warehouse storage, capital projects, department relocations, offsite storage facilities and other special projects. Assures that the appropriate receipt, inspections, capital tagging, and deliveries are completed in a timely manner. Responsible for the coordination of I / S asset tracking and inventory processes across the enterprise including desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
Accountabilities
- Coordinates the I / S asset inventory update process to include all assets, location information, asset tag information, and all other required information. 20%
- Serves as senior level contact for both GHS and contracted staff and as such is responsible for key deliverables such as asset state identification, asset usage patterns, and recommendations of support requirements and other integration plans specific to area of accountability.20%
- Coordinates the asset restock process for everyPrisma HealthI / S stock location. 15%
- 4Coordinate new asset deployments in conjunction with on-site Desktop Services leads. 15%
- Serves in senior level capacity to coordinate with Facilities Development on project work to be completed for installation of equipment and peripherals. 10%
- Coordinate Desktop Services staff to flex locations as needed to meet asset deployment project requirements. 5%
- 7Working with IS leadership, assists in maintenance of contracts for licenses, services, and equipment. 5%
- 8Maintains technical databases pertaining to device deployment, including but not limited to users, applications, devices, and processes. 5%
- 9Using information gathered throughout the fiscal year, makes recommendations to IS Leadership for upcoming fiscal year as it relates to purchasing of information technology equipment, licenses, and services. Tracks budgetary information for all assigned projects and monthly expenses. 5%
Education
Bachelor's Degree - Business, Management, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field
Experience
5 years - Desktop Management, Deployment, and / or Asset Management
Licensure
None required
In lieu of the Above Minimum Requirements
Associate's Degree and7 years Information Technology experience OR High School Diploma and9 years Information Technology experience may be considered. Information Technology experience should be concentrated in desktop management.
