What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Scheduler (Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm) position at Prismatik?
Essential Functions:
POSITION RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES:
- Work with management team to plan and coordinate effective scheduling process to achieve production objectives.
- Prepares purchase orders for customer sales and to obtain materials, tools, and equipment.
- Monitor work flow and supply orders to avoid any shortages, and working with vendor to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor, order and stock materials, tools, etc. for production to ensure production is running smoothly without any delay.
- Coordinate and schedule appointment with vendor to pick up and drop off sterile products.
- Prepares defined work packages including detailed instructions, drawings, bills of material, references, inspection requirements, etc., to initiate and control production work flow.
- Schedules, expedites, and coordinates the delivery and movement of critical material, including material transfers and conditional material releases.
- Interfaces w/ the purchasing, engineering, and supplying departments to ensure production is running smoothly.
- Use GP system to create and track purchase order, and create work order for production.
- Assist in identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in demand planning, production forecasting, inventory control, and purchasing.
- Previous experience with LEAN Enterprise or continuous improvement preferred.
- Previous experience with ERP and/or Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred.
Pay Range: $25.00-$30.00p/hr
