Day Time Cleaner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at a single facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning , with an emphasis on quality and efficiency. Able to accommodate the customer as this is a daytime position working around the customers personal.

This is a W2 position paid weekly. Hours are Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm (an hour unpaid break). This position is for an immediate start.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
• Maintinaing equipment and keeping it in good running order.
• Conduct commercial cleaning duties in offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Carry out custodial responsibilities including trash removal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies.
• Provide porter services by assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment as required.
• Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.

Skills

Experience

• Previous experience in janitorial services or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
• A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness are crucial for success in this role.
