What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Specialist position at Private Client Services, LLC?
Private Client Services is seeking an experienced Operations Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality standards while supporting the PCS Operations team in all operations functions resulting in superior service delivery to Financial Advisors.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide general operational processing assistance to the field.
- Ability to support Trading and Product activities as needed.
- Opening brokerage and direct accounts within NetX360.
- Answers incoming calls from Financial Advisors and Sales Assistants on topics including account details, operational questions, and paperwork processing.
- Contact clearing firm, custodians and other external vendors to resolve inquiries as necessary.
- Ensures strict confidentiality of client, firm and associate records.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on operational policies and procedures and perform functions such as new account opening, account transfers, money movement, trading support, and general account maintenance items, among other functions.
- May be asked to participate in firm projects.
- Ability to navigate and utilize multiple software computer applications and other business relevant platforms.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Familiarity with financial operations and client service.
- Ability to make important decisions independently, but also know when to collaborate with managers and colleagues in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Solid problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using MS Office.
- Experience with Docupace's platform preferred.
- Experience with BNY/Pershing's NetX360 preferred.
Experience/Education/Licenses:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years of experience working within the financial services industry.
- FINRA SIE and Series 7 or the ability to obtain is strongly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
