Field Service Technician

Pro Rentals & Sales, a fast growing, elite general rental equipment company that operates in markets across the United States, is offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Field Service Technician. We are searching for a qualified and ambitious individual who will ensure equipment meets our quality standards of cleanliness, is punctual, observes all safety measures, and has exceptional attention to detail.

As a Field Service Technician you will be responsible for the repair of all rental equipment residing on various job sites in addition to normally assigned shop technician duties. The (FST) is also responsible for the upkeep of OFLs on long term rentals, coordinating with the counters on the replacement of equipment. At all times, you must display a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service (to both internal and external customers).

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

Report directly to the Field Service Coordinator

MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE:

• Response time to customer needs
• Field equipment preventive maintenance as required
• Service vehicle maintenance and record-keeping
• Billable time and record-keeping

KEY WORK:

• Perform assigned internal and field service and repairs
• Maintain service vehicle tools & parts to required standards
• Stocking and maintenance of service trucks
• Maintaining accurate and complete records of all work performed
• Coordinating future service needs of equipment with Central Hub Supervisor
• Conduct safety inspections on field equipment

REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical repair knowledge on a wide range of equipment
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work independently
• Self-motivated
• Valid Class B
• Driving record violation-free for previous three years
• Able to lift 75 lbs or more, several times per day.
