We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain and repair CNC machinery used in our operations. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machinery to ensure functionality and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify and address potential problems.
- Collaborate with production operators and other team members to optimize machinery performance.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role, specifically working with CNC machinery.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical components.
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings to diagnose and repair machinery.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification from a technical school or apprenticeship program is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish/Portuguese) - Prefer but not required
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to machinery maintenance.
