What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Labor position at Process Solutions & Services?
Rapid Industries is looking to add General Laborers to their growing workforce! We are searching for employees with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow. General Laborers will help with routine maintenance and cleaning of shop floor and offices. This position would help ensure that our facilities are clean and free from any safety hazards.
Responsibilities include:
- General shop/office maintenance
- Ensuring a sanitary environment and a workplace free of safety hazards
- Cleaning work areas of debris
- Cleaning and maintaining machinery and equipment
- Ensuring equipment is safe to use and replacing/repairing items that are unsafe, old, or worn out.
- Moving pallets and other storage items in and out of the shop.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous cleaning or maintenance experience
- Experience in manufacturing or warehousing environment is a plus
- Forklift experience is preferred, but not required.
This is an hourly position consisting of 40-50 hours per week. Overtime is paid according to the FLSA guidelines.
