Staff Scientist, Sample Management - Contract - Wilmington DE
Proclinical is working with a biopharmaceutical to recruit for a Staff Scientist who will be responsible for Sample Management.

Skills & Requirements:
- AS (or equivalent laboratory experience) in Biology/Chemistry/Life Sciences, compound management/sample logistics experience desirable.
- Working knowledge of technologies commonly used in a laboratory setting, liquid handling automation experience desirable
- Comfortable with working in proper personal protection equipment (safety glasses, gloves, lab coat)
- Excellent computer skills.
- The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, and work productively in teams as well as independently.
The Staff Scientist's responsibilities will be:
- Organization of physical sample and lab consumables inventory
- Manual manipulation of vessels with caps, plates with cap mats and seals, latch racks
- Organization and record keeping
- Data entry and review utilizing Excel
- Must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Effectively communicate project status to project team members
- Laboratory and sample inventory management.
- Organize, sort, and inventory sample collections and assist in vessel reformatting process which will include manual pipette and liquid handling automation operation.
- Direct communication with internal customers and assist with lab deliverables.
