The Opportunity
Under the direction of the Chief Revenue Officer, the Director, Marketing takes the reins for the overall strategy and success of our marketing and communications program including, but not limited to, the oversight of all aspects of internal and external digital marketing; brand messaging; content marketing; media relations; event management; and overall brand management. You’ll work directly with our leadership team to establish PA as a leading market force, and develop and maintain effective working relationships with all teams in the company, including Business Development, Sales, Revenue Operations, Supplier Management, and Operations. This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced marketer who’s looking to develop and deliver a fully integrated marketing strategy.
In this role, you will:
- Manage the marketing plan budget and establish goals and objectives for all marketing activity, and track results and report on completion on a regular basis.
- Analyze sales performance and metrics in comparison to the marketing budget in order to find the profit margin and which campaigns are most effective
- Stay abreast of current market conditions and trends and incorporate new innovations into company marketing plans—this includes the production and distribution of marketing plans to channel partners and suppliers.
- Ensure that all marketing material, and all initiatives, represent thought leadership and value to members, including webinars, white papers, and case studies.
- Manage the company’s website, blog, SEO/SEM programs, resource center, and other marketing initiatives.
- Conduct surveys as needed to determine position in the market and advance aggressive marketing plans targeted to addressing member needs.
- Own and manage all trade show exhibits and events.
- Own communication of marketing information throughout the company.
- Own the distribution and maintenance of the library of all marketing assets and projects.
Requirements
We are seeking bright, driven and energetic candidates with strong marketing leadership, strategy and delivery skills. Strong employee management, communication skills, and focus on customer service are a must. Candidate is expected to work independently with limited direction from leadership. Exceptional multi-tasking skills required to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and projects. Must be results-oriented while paying close attention to detail.
- 7 years of experience of marketing experience, including leading a marketing team
- Strong understanding of web lead generation, including content marketing and account based marketing
- Strong understanding of traditional promotion, including conferences and PR
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is required, Graduate degree a plus
- Must demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing time commitments
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent active listening skills
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others internally and externally
- Ability to train and coach less experienced employees

Salary : $2 - $5
