Position Summary
Participate in the electrical assembly, installation, manufacture, and preparation of electrical cabinets by ProEnergy Control Solutions for the electric power generation, transmission, and distribution industry.
Position Responsibilities
- Build automated control cabinet enclosures
- Panel Layout
- Mount & Wire Hardware and associated electrical/electronic components in accordance with applicable code
- Cabinet bonding
- Prepare Cabinet for Wiring
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
- Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of work experience either in or related to panel building, which includes activities such as: electrical component lay out, panel wiring, ladder diagrams, point to point AC & DC drive systems, motion control, AB PLC, pneumatics, trouble shooting and testing.
- Successful candidate must be willing and able to work either day or evening shift.
- Must be hands on with good build organizational capability.
- Must be a team player.
- Able to multitask, possess a sense of urgency and communicate effectively.
- Assist with the wiring and assembly of quality industrial equipment.
- Basic hand tool experience required, which includes, drilling tapping assembly of mechanical drive systems and mechanical sub-assemblies.
- Understanding of basic electrical and electronic devices and their associated schematic symbols.
- High regard for safety.
Salary : $39,500 - $50,100
