Janitorial District Manager – HOA & Residential Communities
Professional Maintenance Systems is hiring an experienced Janitorial District Manager to oversee janitorial and day porter services across HOA, apartment, and condominium communities.
This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role. We are looking for a professional manager who knows how to support teams onsite, communicate with property managers, and maintain high service standards across multiple properties.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Managing janitorial and day porter teams at residential and HOA properties
- Conducting regular onsite inspections and quality control walks
- Communicating directly with Property Managers and Community Managers
- Ensuring work is completed to contract and PMS standards
- Coaching, training, and supporting cleaning staff
- Managing supplies, equipment, and site documentation
- Reviewing timecards and supporting payroll accuracy
- Responding to service issues professionally and promptly
Required Experience
- 3 years in janitorial or facilities management
- Experience supporting HOAs, apartments, condos, or residential communities
- Experience managing day porters and cleaning crews
- Comfortable working in the field, not just behind a desk
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) – required
- Valid driver’s license
Strongly Preferred
- Floor care knowledge (strip & wax, carpet, pressure washing, etc.)
- Experience with large janitorial companies or multi-site portfolios
- Familiarity with inspections, logs, and client reporting
