The Winnebago Parent Support Program with PSG/CIP provides intensive parenting education and support to parents in building safe and effective parenting strategies,k with a focus on enhancing the parent-child relationship. As the Youth and Family Specialist, you will work alongside families to address and support family goals related to: increasing family engagement, emotional regulation, addiction and recovery, behavior modification techniques, anger and stress management, basic life skills, and family budgeting skills/

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE YOUTH AND FAMILY SPECIALIST:
- Create, implement, and review family treatment plans.
- Mentor families in accordance with their treatment plans.
- Provide parenting education, support, and advocacy through individual, family, and group work.
- Conduct regular home visits with families.
- Attend client court proceedings and provide updates on treatment progress, as required.
- Organize and facilitate structured group, individual and/or family activities.
- Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for clients in emergency and crisis situations.
- Safely transport clients as needed.
LOCATION: Office is located in Oshkosh, WI with some local travel required to meet clients within the home or other community spaces. Flexibility to work hybrid/remote two days per week. Must be able to meet in-person with families located in Winnebago County, Wisconsin.
SCHEDULE: Full-time 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Hours are varied and will include several evenings per week. No weekends!

SALARY: $19.00 per hour
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related.
- Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
