Job Description

Looking for an individual who is able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. The program coordinator is responsible for overseeing participants with developmental disabilities who live independently in the community. The PC is also responsible for training and managing direct care staff who provide up to 24 hours of care in the home. Must be detail oriented, flexible, organized and able to juggle multiple tasks. Must have great communication skills, both in oral and written in a professional manner. Must be a self-starter and able to manage others well. Program Coordinators also complete scheduling duties for staff, assist with hiring and training. Must be familiar with medications and able to QA, communicate with doctors and work with treatment teams for best course of action for participants. Well organized, excellent communication skills and team player mentality are ideal candidates.

Other Requirements

  • Is at least twenty-one (21) years of age
  • Can satisfactorily completed a criminal history check in accordance with IDAPA 16.05.06
  • Meets QIDP qualifications in Federal Code 42 CFR 483.430·- Bachelor's Degree in the Human Services field
  • Must be CPR and First Aid certified or available to attain certification.
  • Be free from communicable diseases
  • SAMS Certification in order to assist with medication - PBS will provide
