We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Progressive Health. As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing support to physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care.
About the Job:
The successful candidate will have a background or interest in physical therapy, kinesiology, exercise science, or physiology and be able to provide CPR/AED/BLS certification. The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entire assigned shift is also essential. Additionally, strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications, are required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing assistance with physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries and/or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone disease.
- Monitoring the clinic's patients and supporting the therapist with treatment needs.
- Assisting in front office tasks, which may include greeting patients, answering the telephone, supporting registration, data entry, filing, and patient record upkeep.
- Safeguarding and escorting patients from one location to another, if needed.
- Continually cleaning and organizing treatment areas and equipment.
