ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- 1. Aiding and instructing persons served daily in self-care skills i.e., dressing, bathing, etc. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. To assist transfer.
- 2. Supervising and participating in leisure activities and field trips and transporting person served.
- 3. Data collection and implementation of service recipient programs.
- 4. Routine handling, dispensation and record keeping of Individuals Served medications within established policies and guidelines.
- 5. Food preparation according to established guidelines and menus.
- 6. Routine property maintenance and housekeeping including general cleaning, laundry, window washing, clearing, walkways of snow, etc.
- 7. Provide individual consumer services as directed according to person centered plans and needs of the persons served.
- 8. Compliance with consumer rights
- 9. prescribed by PRS-NM, INC. and funding source.
- 10. Must be able to teach/train individuals in a variety of skills areas.
- 11. Must be able to document programming, process notes and other required reports.
- 12. May be subject to dealing with a variety of confrontational situations and challenging behavioral situations.
- 13. Other duties assigned.

- Must be able to/willing to assist individuals with personal hygiene and medical needs.
- Must have ability to drive or coordinate transportation for community-integrated activities.
- Must be able to handle and use cleaning products.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid state driver’s license and good driving record.
