Assistant Director
Progressive Steps Inc is a non-profit, community-based organization that serves the community by providing preschool program, At-risk youth program, Before & After school care, family referral services. Progressive Steps is a Oklahoma City, OK 501(c)3 non-profit corporation.
Job Description
The Assistant Director will be responsible for assisting the Director with program and administrative duties, including:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program and its staff.
- Assisting in the recruitment, hiring, training, evaluation, and development of the staff.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies.
- Performing administrative duties such as: scheduling appointments; answering phones; processing enrollment and membership applications; preparing correspondence; preparing youth reports; preparing food program forms; providing assistance to staff when needed.
- Maintaining client confidentiality.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Overseeing the care and safety of the youth in the program
This position is full time, Monday - Friday. The hours described above are representative of what you would work each day but are not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Duties may change at any time with or without notice.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20,000.00 - $30,000.00 per year
