You'll receive training, support, and opportunities for professional development to help you succeed in this role! Reinforce & expand your skillset by becoming Prevention and Health Improvement Technician (PHIT)SM certified through ProgressiveHealth’s internal continuing education program.
What You'll Do:
- Leading engaging Ergonomics Education/Training sessions to educate employees on proper ergonomics, lifting techniques, and body mechanics
- Working in an embedded client environment
- Conducting thorough ergonomic risk assessments to recommend effective solutions tailored to site operations and job demands
- Assembling solution for both short and long-term risk reduction
- Driving ergonomic improvement initiatives that enhance workplace culture and productivity.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, integrating ergonomic insights into planning and decision-making
- Producing technical reports in a proficient and timely manner
- Promoting safe, healthy, and inspired workplace environments
What You’ll Need:
- A background in orthopedics, neurology, occupational therapy, or related fields, with knowledge in human anatomy, movement mechanics, and assistive devices
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills to effectively communicate ergonomic recommendations and collaborate with diverse teams
- A genuine passion for enhancing workplace wellness, productivity, and impacting team member's wellbeing.
