Role Description
This is a temporary on-site Part-Time role for a Youth Engagement Coordinator located in North Lawndale, IL. The Youth Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for developing, organizing, and delivering youth-focused programs and activities. The role includes mentoring and supporting youth, fostering their personal and academic growth, and encouraging meaningful participation in community initiatives. The coordinator will also collaborate with educators, families, and local organizations to ensure alignment with the organization's mission.
A minimum of 12 hours per week availability is required
Compensation: $29-$33 per hour
Qualifications
- Experience in Youth Engagement, Youth Programs, and Youth Development
- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Background in Education or related fields is highly desirable
- Proven ability to inspire, guide, and support youth development initiatives
- Organizational and leadership skills, with the capacity to manage multiple programs
- Passion for creating a positive impact in underserved communities
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, or related discipline is a plus
