What You'll Be Doing:
The purpose of the Soldering Technician position is to: 1) Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, products or systems according to company work instructions and customer specifications; 2) Ensures compliance to quality standards on each project or job while maintaining production goals; and 3) Follows company policy and procedure ensuring a safe, respectful workplace.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Follow detailed work instructions, including reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics, to accurately assemble assigned company work order.
- Solder surface mount and thru-hole components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) by hand or under a microscope.
- Rework and/or repair defective units to conform to customer specifications.
- Meet production schedules while maintaining high quality standards.
- Maintains production records, logs, and other report forms.
- Identify and inform Operations Team Lead of any product defects or production process issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe work environment free of FOD.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
